Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the uHaveControl web platform, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Interfere with the Service's security, integrity, or availability.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or devices.
• Use the Service to control devices you do not own or have permission to control.
• Reverse-engineer or extract source code beyond what applicable law permits.

3. Devices and Connectivity

The Service depends on internet connectivity, third-party push notification networks (Apple, Google), and the proper functioning of your hardware. We do not guarantee real-time delivery of commands or notifications and the Service must not be relied upon as the sole control mechanism for safety-critical equipment.

4. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the mobile app or via our account deletion page. Deletion is processed with a 30-day grace period during which you can recover your account by logging in. After the grace period the account and associated personal data are permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UHAVECONTROL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
